Buskers

 These images were taken at the annual Banbridge 'Buskfest' competition where musicians are dotted around the town playing their music. These images are scanned from b&w hand prints which I did. The advantage to scanning from a print is that adjustments to the print can be made in the Darkroom. The scans required no or very little adjustment.

 Here are a couple images taken near Leitrim, County Down. Shot on Ilford FP4 plus and scanned from the negatives.

Cambodia

 These images were shot in 1997 at Angkor wat, Cambodia. I used T-MAX 400 to shoot these and these images are scans straight from the negs.

In the stone at the bottom of this image you can see bullet holes. At the time I was there the government were still fighting pockets of Khmer Rouge fighters in the forests nearby.

 

La Graciosa

 In 2013 I visited La Graciosa, one of the Canary islands. A unique and wild place with no sealed roads and no cars, except for a few 4 wheel drives used as taxis. I shot these on color neg and unfortunately a few grains of sand have got into the camera and scratched the film. So now my film is rustic like the place.
